On our way

Quick post, no photos, sorry. We're underway as of about 4 p.m. from Monterey, Rick, Catherine, Doug and me. The destination is San Simeon by mid-morning tomorrow, so we'llsail overnight. Huge gentle swells, no one is sick yet, although I'm sure it's not a good idea to be typing now.

Tom and Karin flew down to Monterey for a visit, that was great. Nancy left midday to drive back to San Diego.

Weather report is not entirely favorable, we're going to try to get a secure anchorage and stay till the following morning. Will report in from there. Motorsailing in light wind. First overnight passage for Pearl.
